Our yard, a dreadful sight, is a blank canvas and there is much landscaping in our future. Stay tuned.

Like this calendar in our kitchen. It is the Stendig calendar by Vignelli and we dig it. It was a little overwhelming at first, but it fits the space quite well.

FebruaryAlso new, a chalkboard! I've been talking about getting a chalkboard like this for a while now, but they always seemed surprisingly expensive. I got this from work as a result of our downsizing. Perhaps, the one good outcome of that situation.
The chalkboard was placed where the clock used to be, and the clock moved to above the pantry door. Every time we wondered what time it was we found ourselves looking at the chalkboard and thinking "why am I looking at the chalkboard?" Hence, the drawing of the clock on the chalkboard.
